At Prayas Foundation, we value every contribution that helps us empower the tribal and rural youth of Madhya Pradesh. We follow a reliable refund policy to let our donors feel privileged about their association with us.

1. Donation Cancellation

Voluntary Contributions: As a non-profit organisation registered under the Madhya Pradesh Societies Registration Act 1973, all contributions made to Prayas Foundation are voluntary.
Non-Cancellable: Once a donation transaction is successfully processed, it generally cannot be cancelled by the donor.

2. Refund Policy

We take utmost care to process donations as per the instructions given by our donors, online and offline. However, in case of an unlikely event of an erroneous donation or a technical glitch, we will process a refund under the following conditions:

Technical Errors: If a transaction amount was debited twice from your account due to a technical glitch, or if the amount debited is incorrect (different from what you intended), we will process a full or partial refund of the excess amount.
Request Timeline: You must request a refund within 7 days of the transaction date.
Mode of Refund: The refund will be processed back to the original payment method (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI) used during the transaction. We cannot refund cash for online transfers.
Processing Time: Approved refunds will be credited to your account within 7 to 14 working days, depending on your bank's processing time.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Tax Receipts Issued: If a valid tax exemption receipt (under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act) has already been issued and sent to the donor, we may be unable to process a refund due to statutory compliance with the Income Tax Department.
Change of Mind: We cannot offer refunds simply because a donor changes their mind after the transaction is completed and the funds have been utilized for charitable activities.

To request a refund due to a technical error, please contact us immediately with your transaction details (Transaction ID, Date, Amount):
